Hosta ‘You’re Welcome’ is a registered cultivar () .

Year registered2011
Section classII-2

Overview

Registered in 2011 as a sport of *Hosta* 'Thank You', 'You're Welcome' forms a large, mound-shaped clump reaching 24 inches (61 cm) in height and 50 inches (127 cm) in diameter. Its most distinctive feature is the nearly round, blue-green leaves with cordate bases and flat margins, which are dull on both surfaces and bear 12 pairs of veins.

In the Garden

'You're Welcome' performs best in partial to full shade, where its blue-green foliage retains its color most reliably. At nearly 4.5 feet across at maturity, it functions as a substantial specimen or background plant in shaded borders and woodland gardens. Its moderate growth rate and large dimensions make it suitable for filling gaps among ferns, *Heuchera*, or other shade-tolerant perennials.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture during dry periods, particularly in the first growing season. Apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new shoots emerge. Like most large-leaved hostas, 'You're Welcome' may be susceptible to slug and deer damage in garden settings.
