Registered in 2005, *Hosta* 'Worldly Treasure' is a medium-sized variegated cultivar of unknown pollen parentage, with *H.* 'Gaijin' as its pod parent. It is visually distinctive for its intensely cupped, nearly round leaves with dark green margins, a glossy upper surface, and a very shiny underside.

'Worldly Treasure' forms a moderate-growing, mound-like clump reaching 12 inches (30.5 cm) in height and 24 inches (61.0 cm) in diameter. Its thick, corrugated leaves with 10 vein pairs are well-suited to partial to full shade, where the dark green margins remain stable. This cultivar pairs effectively with ferns, heucheras, and other shade-tolerant perennials that contrast with its rounded leaf form.

Care Notes

Water regularly during dry periods to maintain consistent soil moisture, and apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Like most hostas, 'Worldly Treasure' is susceptible to slug and deer damage, so appropriate management measures should be taken in typical hosta-growing zones.
