The leaves, measuring 9 inches (22.9 cm) long by 8 inches (20.3 cm) wide with 11 vein pairs, bear a glaucous bloom on the underside, contributing to its muted, cool-toned appearance.

This cultivar reaches a mature spread of 29 inches (73.7 cm) and a height of 16 inches (40.6 cm), with an upright, slow-growing habit. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical of hosta-growing zones, and pairs well with ferns, heucheras, and other shade-tolerant perennials that complement its blue-green leaves.
