Overview
Registered in 2015, this giant hosta originated as a streaked sport of *Hosta* 'Grey Cole' crossed with *Hosta* 'Justice'. It is visually distinctive for its very large, broadly ovate leaves of medium blue-green with creamy white streaks and a white margin, combined with a dull upper surface and glaucous bloom beneath.
In the Garden
This cultivar forms a substantial mound reaching approximately 71 inches (181 cm) in diameter and 32 inches (81 cm) in height, with a moderate growth rate. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical of hosta-growing zones, where its blue-green foliage and white streaking remain most pronounced. Its large size makes it suitable as a specimen plant or for the back of a shaded border, though it is not recommended for containers due to its giant dimensions.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Like many large-leaved hostas, it may be susceptible to slug damage; monitor foliage regularly and manage as needed.
