Overview
Registered in 2013 as a sport of *Hosta* 'Olive Branch', 'Peace Offer' is a medium-sized, mound-forming cultivar distinguished by its tricolor variegation: a greenish-yellow leaf center with a medium green margin and a lighter green zone between them. The center is notably paler than that of its parent, giving the foliage a three-toned appearance.
In the Garden
'Peace Offer' reaches approximately 14 inches (35.6 cm) in height and 26 inches (66.0 cm) in diameter, forming a slow-growing, dense mound. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical for hostas, and its medium size makes it suitable for mid-border positions or as a specimen in shaded rock gardens. Companion plants such as ferns, *Heuchera*, or *Tiarella* complement its muted green and gold tones.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Like most hostas, 'Peace Offer' is susceptible to slug and deer damage; monitor regularly and apply controls as needed.
