Registered in 2000 by an unknown hybridizer, *Hosta* 'Lakeside Triple Crown' is a small-sized cultivar distinguished by its green leaves with gold margins. The leaf margins are described as greenish yellow and slightly rippled, while the leaf surface is dull on both top and bottom, with a flat base.

In the Garden

This compact hosta reaches a mature size of approximately 10 inches (25.4 cm) in diameter and 5 inches (12.7 cm) in height, with an upright growth habit. It is suitable for small garden spaces, rock gardens, or container culture, and pairs well with other small perennials such as heucheras or ferns. As with most hostas, it performs best in partial to full shade, though the gold margins may be more pronounced with some morning light.
