Registered in 2005, *Hosta* 'Lakeside Metered Light' is a medium-sized cultivar of seedling parentage. It is visually distinguished by its ovate, green leaves with creamy white centers and flat, lime green margins—a reverse-variegated pattern that sets it apart from margin-variegated forms.

In the Garden

This cultivar forms a moderate-growing, mound-like clump reaching 32 inches (81.3 cm) in diameter and 14 inches (35.6 cm) in height. It performs best in partial to dappled shade, where its variegation remains stable, and is well-suited to mixed shade borders, woodland gardens, or as a specimen in small groupings. Its medium size and tidy habit make it appropriate for container cultivation in typical hosta-growing zones.
