Overview

Registered in 1994 by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres, this medium-sized hosta is a cross between *H. 'Fascination'* and *H. 'Lakeside Symphony'*. It forms a dense, mound-like clump distinguished by its broad, cordate leaves with yellow-green to lime centers and wide, creamy white to white margins that remain smooth and even.

In the Garden

Mature plants reach 26 inches (66 cm) in height and 36 inches (91 cm) in diameter, making this cultivar suitable for mid-border positions or as a specimen in partial to full shade. The leaf coloration is most vivid with morning sun and afternoon shade; in deeper shade the centers shift toward deeper green. It pairs well with ferns, *Heuchera*, and other fine-textured shade perennials. The green scapes, reaching 24 to 29 inches (61 to 74 cm), bear lavender flowers in midsummer.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture, especially during establishment, and apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Like most hostas, it is susceptible to slug damage on the broad leaves and to deer browsing; regular monitoring and protective measures are recommended in typical hosta-growing zones.
