Registered in 1999, *Hosta* 'Kiwi Spearmint' is a sport of *Hosta* 'Undulata' and is classified as a small-sized cultivar. Its visual distinction derives from narrow, pure white leaf centers bordered by dark and light green margins, creating a crisp variegation on elongated, lance-shaped foliage.

In the Garden

'Kiwi Spearmint' forms a compact, mound-like clump reaching approximately 12 inches (30 cm) in height and 16 inches (40 cm) in diameter, making it suitable for the front of borders, rock gardens, or container cultivation. It performs best in partial to full shade, as is typical for variegated hostas, and pairs well with small ferns, heucheras, or shade-tolerant groundcovers. Its small stature and tidy habit also suit trough gardens or mixed shade containers.

Care Notes
