Registered in 1988 by Walters Gardens, Inc., *Hosta* 'Harvest Glow' is a small-sized sport of *Hosta* 'Moon Glow'. It is visually distinctive for its green leaves with lemony chartreuse margins, a color pattern that reverses the typical gold-centered, green-margined appearance of its parent.

In the Garden

'Harrow Glow' reaches a mature size of approximately 20 inches (50.8 cm) in both height and diameter, with a scape height of up to 24 inches (61 cm). It performs best in partial to full shade, where the gold margins remain brightest, and is suitable for the front of borders, rock gardens, or container plantings due to its compact habit. Companion plants include ferns, heucheras, and other small hostas with contrasting foliage colors.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Slugs and deer may damage foliage; monitor regularly and use appropriate control measures in typical hosta-growing zones.
