Overview

A sport of *Hosta* 'Marquette Park', registered in 2006, 'Grant Park' is a medium-sized, fast-growing cultivar distinguished by its heavily rippled, dark green leaf margins and ovate leaves with rounded bases. The foliage is slightly shiny on the upper surface and bears nine to ten vein pairs.

In the Garden

'Grant Park' forms a mound-shaped clump reaching 18 inches (45.7 cm) in height and 40 inches (101.6 cm) in diameter. It is suitable for partial to full shade in typical hosta-growing zones and pairs well with ferns, heucheras, and other shade-tolerant perennials. Its medium stature makes it appropriate for border fronts or as a specimen in shaded beds.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Slugs and deer may feed on the foliage, so monitor and manage as needed.
