Registered in 2013 as a sport of a seedling of unknown origin, this small hosta is visually defined by its reverse coloration: pure white leaf centers framed by dark green margins. The white centers are notably non-melting and sun tolerant, a rare trait among white-centered cultivars.

Reaching 8 inches (20.3 cm) in height and 24 inches (61.0 cm) in diameter, this mound-forming plant is suited for the front of borders, rock gardens, or container culture. It tolerates more sun than typical white-centered hostas, though partial shade remains optimal. Its compact size and moderate growth rate make it an effective edging plant or companion to ferns and small woodland perennials.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture, especially during establishment, and apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer in early spring. Slugs may damage the white leaf centers, though the dark green margins are less palatable; deer will browse the foliage if present in typical hosta-growing zones.
