Registered in 2014, *Hosta* 'Cosmic Warrior' is a medium-sized cultivar resulting from a cross between *Hosta* 'Frosted Morning' (pod parent) and *Hosta* 'Purple Perfection' (pollen parent). The plant is visually distinctive for its blue-green leaves with white margins that are further streaked with shades of green, yellow, and creamy white, creating a variegated pattern across the slightly rippled leaf edges.

'Cosmic Warrior' reaches a mature diameter of 32 inches (81.3 cm) and a height of 16.5 inches (41.9 cm), with an upright, moderate growth habit. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical of most hostas, and its medium size makes it suitable for mid-border positions or as a specimen plant in shaded beds. Companion plants might include ferns, heucheras, or other shade-tolerant perennials that complement its blue-green and white coloration.

Care Notes

Water regularly during dry periods, particularly in the first growing season, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges.
