Registered in 2013, *Hosta* 'Cosmic Secret' is a large cultivar bred from the pod parent *H.* 'Ma Breeder' and pollen parent *H.* 'Fudge Ripple'. It is visually distinctive for its intensely streaked blue-green leaves with white margins, pronounced veining, and slightly rippled, moderately wavy leaf edges.

'Cosmic Secret' forms an upright clump reaching 18 inches (45.7 cm) in height and 32 inches (81.3 cm) in diameter, with scapes rising 36 to 42 inches (91.4 to 106.7 cm). It performs best in partial to full shade, typical for blue-leaved hostas, and its moderate growth rate suits mixed woodland borders or shaded perennial beds. The large, broadly ovate leaves with cordate bases pair well with ferns, astilbes, and other shade-tolerant perennials.
