Overview

Registered in 2015 as a sport of *Hosta* 'Champagne Toast', 'Champagne for All' forms a medium-sized, mound-like clump distinguished by its creamy white leaf margins that are notably wider than those of its parent. The broadly ovate leaves measure 8 inches (20.3 cm) long and 4.875 inches (12.4 cm) wide, with dark green, slightly rippled margins and a lightly wavy texture; the upper surface is slightly shiny while the underside is dull.

In the Garden

This cultivar reaches a mature diameter of 18.25 inches (46.4 cm) and a height of 12.25 inches (31.1 cm), with a moderate growth rate. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical for variegated hostas, and pairs well with ferns, astilbes, and other shade-tolerant perennials. Its compact size makes it suitable for the front of a border or as an accent in a woodland garden.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Like most hostas, it is susceptible to slug and deer damage; monitor and manage accordingly in typical hosta-growing zones.
