Hosta ‘Carry On’ is a registered cultivar () .

Year registered2013
Section classIV-4b

Overview

Registered in 2013, 'Carry On' is a sport of *Hosta* 'Pilgrim' distinguished by its medium green leaves with creamy white margins that are notably wider than those of its parent. This small-sized cultivar forms a fast-growing, mound-like clump.

In the Garden

'Carry On' reaches 12 inches (30.5 cm) in height and spreads to 30 inches (76.2 cm) in diameter. Its small stature and moderate leaf waviness suit it for front-of-border positions, rock gardens, or container cultivation. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical for hostas, and pairs well with other small woodland perennials such as ferns or heucheras.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Standard hosta pest precautions apply: monitor for slugs and snails, and protect from deer where they are prevalent.
