Registered in 2016 from *Hosta* 'Atlantis' as pod parent with unknown pollen parent, 'Bohemia Desert Border' is a medium-sized cultivar distinguished by its green leaves with gold margins and a continuous series of color changes through midsummer that produces a multi-colored appearance. The foliage is ovate with rounded bases, moderately wavy overall, and displays greenish yellow centers bordered by medium green, slightly rippled margins measuring 0.08 to 0.20 inches (0.2 to 0.5 cm) wide.

This cultivar forms a mound-like habit reaching 17.72 inches (45.0 cm) in height and 27.56 inches (70.0 cm) in diameter, with a moderate growth rate. It is noted as sun tolerant and slug resistant, making it suitable for brighter positions than many hostas, though it performs reliably in typical hosta-growing zones.
