Brunnera macrophylla, is a member of the borage family and is a rhizomatous perennial that spreads underground to form beautiful mounds heart shaped leaves. Leaf size varies from 2 to 8 inches wide, and their colors vary as well. Over time brunnera forms a very nice dense groundcover of gorgeous growing from 15 to 18 inches in height and width.

Plants produce dainty forgot me not like blue flowers in spring a are winter hardy in USDA Zones 3 to 7.
